Description:
As a Formulation Scientist - Pharmaceutical Research & Development be responsible for the development of oral and topical dosage formulations from concept through technology transfer.

Be responsible for the formulation design and development of solid and topical drug dosage forms, including gels, creams and ointments.

Conduct formulation development from bench top to production of small scale cGMP batches for human clinical studies.

Develop patent applications for novel formulations and technology.

Support clinical and regulatory affairs efforts, and the preparation of technology transfer documentation.

B.S.or M.S. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field.

A minimum of two years of pharmaceutical industry formulation development experience with specific knowledge and capability in the area of oral dosage forms and topical preparations.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to make presentations to director-level management.
