Ground floor opportunity with this exciting specialty pharmaceutical company which plans to triple in size in the next year.
This privately-held company is focused on the development and commercialization of patent-protected drug products that fulfill unmet needs in the treatment of infectious disease. It is developing a broad portfolio of therapeutic products for the antibacterial market based on its unique controlled release drug delivery technology.

Manage and expand the capabilities of the Formulation Department.

Direct a group of scientists responsible for the development of pharmaceutical solid dosage forms for controlled release, enhanced solubility or bioavailability.

Develop patent applications for novel formulations and technology.

Transfer products to scale-up group after "proof of concept" accomplished.

Pharm D. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry or related field.

A minimum of six years of pharmaceutical industry formulation experience.

Expertise and experience with controlled release solid oral dosage and/or semi-solid formulation.

Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to make presentations to director-level management.
