Description:
As the Director of Pharmaceutical Product Development lead and manage the activities of scientists responsible for the development of solid and topical dosage formulations
from concept through technology transfer.
Ground floor opportunity with this exciting privately-held, profitable company which was established in 1993 to investigate
and develop pharmaceutical products effective in the treatment of lifestyle and quality of life.

Lead and manage a staff of formulation scientists and analytical method development chemists.

Direct the activities of scientists responsible for the development of solid and topical pharmaceutical dosage formulations from concept through technology transfer.

Be responsible for product development planning, goal setting, project cost estimating, strategic planning, and staff organization and development.

Support clinical and regulatory affairs efforts, and the preparation of technology transfer documentation.

Pharm.D. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry or related field.

A minimum of six years of pharmaceutical industry experience in the development of pharmaceutical formulations.

Demonstrated capabilities in project development, team leadership and goal achievement.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to make presentations to director-level management.
